Sophie Pascoe

One of the tasks for today was to create a fact file for a paralympian from Christchurch.  I chose Sophie Pascoe and to make mine on a canva.

This task took me around 30 minutes.

I hope that you enjoy my blog post

  1. Hi Emma,

It is great to see you took your time to find out information and prepare a fact file to show us what you've learned about Sophie Pascoe. I like the way you presented your well-selected key facts in different font sizes and colors. You also included some photos to show us how she looks.

I am amazed by the number of achievements she has earned since 2008. She is such a talented woman, isn't she? I wonder how hard she has been practicing. Do you know how she trained herself into a Paralympic athlete?

  2. Kia ora Emma - thanks for sharing such an informative fact file about Sophie Pascoe. I really liked the way you presented your fact file on Canva. A great use of borders, edges, colours & fonts. What was the most interesting fact you found out about Sophie? I didn't realise she started swimming from such a young age, 7! She must of put in a lot of intense training to get to the Paralympics. Did you know she won another Gold medal this evening? She is such a talented Paralympian. Keep safe. Jen TA (Awhi below)

  3. Hi Emma!
We did our research on the same person!
    Your's is amazing!
I still don't know how to put Canva on my blog but I think I'm almost there!
The letters on the first presentation is really tiny but I guess it is necessary for all these facts.
Hope you have a great day and keep up the great work!

  4. Hey Emma,

This blog post is so cool! I like how you've made two presentations about Sophie Pascoe. I didn't know that she had lost her left when she was only 2 years old. Next time you could add some more facts on the canva presentation.
